Introducing....
My favourite Organs to make are the needlefelted ears and brains, I also love to needlefelt Owls, and have a few owl necklaces available at the rummage. My favourite thing about making Organs, apart from the personal love of creating them, is hearing the stories from the buyers of the Organs, people tell me about their operations, their illness, their treatments, their quirky collections, their jobs, their University theses, I love chatting to my customers and hearing about what the piece they buy means to them.
The Little Orchard is all handmade cuties, as well as a few weird creatures. I love fabric and have a lot of it, so I make badges and necklaces out it these days. Come say "hi" at the next rummage!
Simmone of Your Organ Grinder!
I'm Your Organ Grinder and The Little Orchard, otherwise known as Simmone. I make the Organs and the cute brooches and other bits and pieces, plus bundles of other things I just cant roll down to the Rummage every month! I'm a needlefelter, sewer, and general crafter, I'm not good at drawing , but can pretty much make anything out of felt or fleece. Our wonderful friend and incredible artist Belinda Suzette will be our special guest attending Suitcase Rummage this Sunday September 5....!
Belinda has been the amazing person behind all the beautiful artwork on our flyers and blog and is the artist behind our lovely trumpet man...(our logo!)
This Sunday, Belinda will not only be attending the Rummage - she will be selling some of her amazing creations! These images show her beautiful Tambourines and Rain Catcher Mobiles which she will have on the day....
All made from reclaimed, recycled, pre-loved, hand-made, vintage, fairly-traded, much-loved, keenly-sought materials. Each is unique.

Rummagers
Visit Sarah at her Box Brownies blog: http://boxbrownies.blogspot.com/
We'd like to introduce the lovely.....
Sarah Rochford of Box Brownies
Box Brownies all started after I saw the ad in Four Thousand which was calling out for people to be involved in the first Suitcase Rummage. I just happened to have found an old suitcase on the side of the road during Council pick up the week before and thought it must have been a sign. I have always loved handmade and unique vintage items but I have only in past year rediscovered my love of creating all things handmade. Most of my items are derived from my love of all things pop culture and nostalgia.
Suitcase Rummage is a brilliant platform for all budding artists or simple crafters like me who like to get out and meet like minded people and to see others enjoy your craft. So if you are in need of a 'Mo' make sure you come and visit me at the August Rummage.

Rummagers
Photography has always been an interest to me, my Father and Auntie both have a history of developing their own prints. Even my Grandfather would develop contact prints and send them to my Grandmother while serving in the war.
We've been developing prints in our make shift laundry lab since 2008. We've spent many nights standing on a cold, wet floor, experimenting with traditional techniques of print making.
Each print is a unique work of art, no two prints are exactly the same. There are no computers involved, just lots of attention to detail, perfecting our craft print by print.
We sell our prints frameless and unmounted, making our works easy enough to give as gifts. Or for a more personal touch, we can mount or frame any of our photos for you.
Come check out our collection, we're building it week by week and hope to add a new selection for every suit case rummage.
We call ourselves the Laundry Print Co. Have a chat to us at Suitcase Rummage this Sunday or visit our new site at laundryprintscompany.com.

Rummagers
and cake plates that I can put to good use with my baked goods.
We have so many gorgeous and wonderful Suitcase holders that come and partake in Suitcase Rummage. We want to introduce you to some over the next little while, so you can put faces to names at the Rummage!
This time around the Rummager we want to introduce you to is Laura:
Being an artist and mad opshopper for several years now, I have built up quite the collection of vintage & retro treats. I love anything with a great pattern or that carries a little bit of history to it. As a keen baker, kitchenalia has been a long time favourite of mine and especially teacups
and cake plates that I can put to good use with my baked goods.
I love anything that reminds me of my beautiful grandmothers which I'll either use in my art or to decorate my eclectic home. As my collection increases, I thought it time to share some of these collectables with other likeminded people.
Suitcase rummage has been the perfect platform for this. If I can cut 10 metres of my vintage curtain fabric or wallpaper in half and give someone the same enjoyment that I get from having it for a fraction of antique centre prices, then finding me at rummage is your best bet. Come and have a chat over retro pillowcases & english cake plates some time, I'd love to meet you.
