Suitcase Rummage at Brisbane Powerhouse tomorrow!

Here at Suitcase Rummage we've decided it's time to get crafty! So, as apart of our new POP UP Rummage's at BRISBANE POWERHOUSE we are hosting a community Crafternoon in the lovely greenery opposite the Rummage.

The details are:

CRAFTERNOON!

Sunday May 25, 1pm - 4pm

WHERE?
At the Performance Lawn! This is the grassy area on the left of the Powerhouse building (not NewFarm Park). In short, find the Suitcase Rummage and you will find the Crafternoon set up opposite it!

WHAT TO BRING?
BYO Craft projects and materials (this could be crochet, collage, writing, drawing, finger knitting, seed bombing, anything creative!)
BYO rug and cushion / chair to sit on
BYO imagination and willingness to craft!
BYO healthy snacks to keep you crafting!

It's FREE to attend the crafternoon!

We will provide some blankets and rugs to sit on, but we do ask you bring your own if you can.

We also will be hosting a delightful talk with lovely local Pia Robinson from QUT Art Museum.

Pia Robinson is part of the curatorial team at QUT Art Museum and the William Robinson Gallery. She has undertaken study nationally and internationally, including Marketing the Visual Arts and Art as an Alternative Investment at Sotheby's Institute of Art London, Graduate Diploma in Arts Management from QUT and Bachelor of Fine Arts from QCA. Her previous employment, spanning over 10 years, ranges from Volunteer Tour Guide at the Queensland Art Gallery/Gallery of Modern Art, Archivist at Fire-works Gallery, Art Teachers' Aide, Membership Officer at Artworkers Alliance, Curatorial Assistant at Urban Art Projects, Queensland Coordinator at AbaF, Project Co-ordinator & Facilitator of Creative Generation Excellence Awards in Visual Art & Design workshop program, and Gallery Manager at Ryan Renshaw Gallery.

The Talk is FREE! It will happen at the same space as the Crafternoon, 3pm start!

We suggest arriving a little earlier than 2pm and have a Rummage through the market first :)
